A GREEN MEADOWS EASTER

Green Meadows Petting Farm, located in Ijamsville, MD is one of my family’s favorite places! At the farm, we enjoy time together, outside and without the help of an electronic device. We learn about all the different farm animals (lots of them just being babies) and get to interact with them, meaning we hold, we touch and for as long as we want, as many times as we want! We milk cows. We watch pigs race and we feed goats and sheep. We take a hayride through the cool woods and we bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. It is always a wonderful family day full of memories and photos to last a lifetime!
This year Green Meadows Petting Farm is having Easter Egg Hunts! On April 4th through April 8th, Green Meadows will host 2 Easter Egg Hunts per day (one around 11:30am and one around 2:30pm) for ages 0-9. Hunt areas will be divided by age group. Eggs will be filled with candy and small prizes. Bigger prizes will also be given away, compliments of our sponsors. For ages 10 and above, Green Meadows will have Treasure Hunts where kids will have to answer trivia questions all about farm animals to reach a final prize! The Easter Bunny will also be hopping around…ready for some great photo ops! Bring your own basket or use one of our great egg hunting bags, provided by our friends at SunTrust Bank!
Admission is $12 per person, Children under 2 are FREE. There is a coupon available on their website www.greenmeadowsevents.com for Buy Two, Get One Free on admission, as well as discount tickets at local stores. Please check Green Meadow’s website for days and times they are open!
