Some Fun This Week

Looking for something fun to do these days after Christmas? Here are a few things I thought were worth checking out, especially if you are out and about, using those gift cards at the mall, or letting the kids take a break from playing with all their new toys. Definitely check out the Grand Opening of the Ice Rink in Rockville, it looks like a fun filled evening!

WEDNESDAY

                                         Trust and Mayor Marcuccio of Rockville

6:55pm                          Special Guest US National Figure Skater and Olympian Kimmie
                                        Meissner will cut the ice

7:05 – 7:10pm              Special Performance from Kimmie Meissner

7:15 - 7:30pm               Special performance by U.S. National Champions in 
                                        Juvenile Ice Dance, Eliana Gropman & Ian Somerville

7:30pm                          Rink opens to the public. Receive a FREE Rockville Town Square
                                        traveler mug to all skaters (while supplies last.)

7:30pm  - 8:30pm        Meet and greet/autograph signing with Kimmie Meissner

7:30pm-10pm              Live music



THURSDAY

Downtown Frederick Library
10:00am-4:00pm
Lego Drop in Play!
Lego fans are invited to come to the library to build, create and play with others who are also crazy about LEGOS. The library provides the LEGOS, you provide the know-how! Just drop in between 10 to 4 pm and have some fun.
